"USANA Health Sciences Inc., a maker of nutritional and beauty products, said Tuesday its fiscal first-quarter profit rose 7 percent as sales climbed.For the quarter ended April 1, the company, which sells its products mainly through independent distributors it calls associates, earned $9.6 million, or 50 cents per share, up from $8.9 million, or 45 cents per share, during the same period a year ago.
