A senior vice president of nutritional supplement company Herbalife Ltd. exercised options for and then sold 22,500 shares of stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Tuesday.In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Sergio Medina Gomez, senior vice president for Mexico and Central America, reported he exercised options for 88 cents to $3.52 apiece, then sold them for $39.99 apiece Thursday.
Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.
