Eric Kuhrts now serves as a Director and Chief Science Officer. As co-founder of BioNovix and inventor of the products, Eric will bring renewed energy to his expanded role focusing on the continued research and development of the Wellness Index Test, Meridium product line. Eric is the founder and CEO of five pharmaceutical companies, and is the inventor of over 30 issued and pending patent applications. He has been involved in numerous aspects of management and research related to pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and consumer products for over 18 years. One of his inventions, the BiosŪ Life2 generated over $180 million in annual revenues (close to $2 billion in sales over a 10 year period) for the Rexall Sundown company's Rexall Showcase International network marketing division. Eric has developed and licensed novel proprietary diagnostic biomarkers, major sports supplement products, numerous over-the counter (OTC) drug products, drug delivery systems, and many new biopharmaceutical formulations in the cardiovascular, and anti-inflammatory area. Eric also has extensive experience in the development of new drugs that require FDA approval via new drug application (IND/NDA) submissions. Eric is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego. Eric will continue to be a member of the company's Board of Directors.
