"Reliv International Inc., the Chesterfield-based seller of nutritional supplements, said Wednesday that profit and sales dropped in the third quarter as the U.S. economy dragged down the company's results. Reliv said restructuring its European operations significantly reduced its losses there. But that improvement was negated by lower pre-tax profits from the United States.
Reliv said it is focused on turning its U.S. business around. To boost efficiency, the company launched an automatic shipping program in the U.S. in August and then expanded it to Australia.
