Herbalife (China) Health Products Ltd recently signed an agreement with Mianyang Municipal Education Bureau and announced a formation of a relief fund with plans to assist children affected by the devastating earthquake in Sichuan Province, China.The found, called Warm Foundation, will help facilitate meeting the needs of children from 300 families with financial problems in Minyang City in the coming two years. Each family will receive about 1000 yuan from the fund annually, according to the release from the company.
So far, the fund has given its first relief fund as well as warm winter clothes to more than 12 children in Mianyang City to help them go through the cold winter. “The fund is established on the donation of our more than 1000 employees in China, representing our good wishes and warm regards to the people affected by the devastating earthquake,” said the spokesperson of Herbalife South China division.
