"The charitable arm of Reliv International Inc. announced Tuesday it completed a feeding center and school for impoverished children in the Philippines using funds raised from the company's "Walk for the Mission." The center in Cavite City, Philippines, is the first built by the Reliv Kalogris Foundation, which provides nutritional supplements to approximately 270 organizations, including schools, hospitals, orphanages and feeding centers in 15 countries.
Approximately 4,000 Reliv distributors and their families participated in the "Walk for the Mission" last August in downtown St. Louis, which raised more than $180,000 for the foundation.
