"Reliv International reported Wednesday a second-quarter profit of $569,000, or 4 cents a share, compared to a profit of $823,000, or 5 cents a share, a year ago. Its net sales for the second quarter were $24 million, compared to net sales of $26.3 million in the second quarter last year. The nutritional supplement company cited weakening U.S. sales.
Reliv said it plans to close its corporate office in Germany but continue to serve distributors in Germany and other European countries. All other European operations are now headquartered at Reliv's United Kingdom office.
