"COPPELL, Texas - Diet supplement and skin care company Mannatech Inc. suspended its quarterly dividend on Friday, citing its recent financial performance.The company said it paid over $2 million in dividends last year. It said it needs to save the money to pay for initiatives aimed at boosting sales and recruitment.
The company said directors will consider reinstating the dividend when financial results improve.
Before the announcement, Mannatech shares had risen 15 cents, or 4.3 percent, to close at $3.63.
