Reliv International-sponsored athlete Greg James of Omaha, Neb., won a Silver Medal at the Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Championship held in Irvine, Calif., last weekend. This is James' second Silver medal this year. James competes in the Purple Belt Senior 2 Heavyweight division for those ages 41-45 who weigh between 194.5 and 207.5 pounds. There were 40 competitors from a number of countries in his division in the Pan Am championship. Approximately 2,800 competitors overall participated in the tournament.

James teaches martial arts to members of the Air Force, Marines and Navy, as well as to various law enforcement officials around the United States. He is a retired U.S. Navy Petty Officer who has served in three wars. James holds Black Belts in various forms of karate, kung-fu and jiu-jitsu.
