FirstFitness International was founded in 1989 by Lee Causey and Nigel Branson. Causey had previously developed diet and nutritional products and introduced Reneú, the company's inner-body and colon-cleanse product, when FirstFitness launched. Branson remains president and leads the privately held company from its headquarters in Frisco, Texas.
The company's current product line covers weight management, digestive and gut health, general wellness, sports nutrition and skincare. Its principal products include the Trimsulin plant-based weight-management program, Reneú cleanse with probiotics, Body FX meal-replacement shakes, Control appetite-support drink mix, Trimbolic, collagen peptides, Biomega, Cardio 1st and SPN energy, pre-workout and hydration drink mixes.
FirstFitness uses a social-selling and multilevel compensation model. Independent participants, called Team Members, receive product discounts of approximately 20% to 40%, operate personal online stores and earn commissions on customer purchases. The company currently advertises commissions of up to 40% on customer orders, 30% on a newly enrolled Team Member's initial product order, and additional team and leadership bonuses, recognition and incentive trips. Its compensation materials describe nine potential ways to earn and payments as often as five times per month.
FirstFitness also operates a VIP customer program based on recurring Smart Ship orders, with product discounts, reward points and free-shipping benefits on qualifying monthly purchases.
