iLearningGlobal.tv was launched in 2008 by entrepreneur John McLelland and motivational speaker Brian Tracy, who served as a co-founder, investor, and chief learning officer. The company began its prelaunch during 2008 and held its formal launch conference in Las Vegas in March 2009. By May 2009, iLearningGlobal reported more than 4,000 members worldwide.

The company sold subscription access to an online library of personal-development and business-training content. Members could watch high-definition videos and access audio programs, electronic books, webcasts, and older training materials from speakers including Brian Tracy, Bob Proctor, Ivan Misner, Jim Cathcart, Tony Alessandra, Hyrum Smith, and Don Hutson. Subjects included sales, leadership, marketing, entrepreneurship, financial management, networking, relationships, parenting, and personal development. The company also offered E.D.G.E., a customizable 52-week training program for small and midsized businesses.

Customers could purchase the training subscription without participating in the business opportunity.
