Original Npros business profile for SereniGy, preserved below for archival purposes:

SereniGy Global was a Miami-based network marketing company founded in 2009 by Jay Noland. The company built its business around Ganoderma lucidum, a mushroom also known as reishi or lingzhi, incorporating it into coffee, tea, hot chocolate, nutritional supplements, and other wellness products.

SereniGy Global, Inc. was incorporated in Florida on December 7, 2009, with Noland serving as president and CEO. By 2013, the company promoted an international distributor presence spanning more than 50 countries, supported by warehouses in markets including London, Mexico, Hong Kong, Costa Rica, Panama, South Africa, and Colombia.

SereniGy's product line centered on Ganoderma-infused beverages and nutritional products. Its principal offerings included instant coffee, tea, cocoa-based beverages, energy drinks, and nutraceutical supplements. The company also developed products in the weight-management and general wellness categories. Federal trademark registrations for the SereniGy name specifically identify coffee, tea, cocoa beverages, energy drinks, and nutraceuticals containing mushroom or mushroom extracts.

The company used a binary network-marketing compensation plan. Distributors earned retail profits and could qualify for commissions generated through personally sponsored distributors and sales organizations built on two binary legs.

SereniGy compensation materials identified 12 earning components, including retail profit, the Preferred Customer Program, Retailers Advantage, Q2 Maker commissions, a four-level Fast Start program, the Top 20 Sales Pool, residual team bonuses, check-matching bonuses, car and expense incentives, luxury bonuses, multiple business-center bonuses, and a global bonus pool. Distributors generally maintained active status through monthly product volume, and historical materials required 50 PV per month for an IBO to remain active. Entry-level distributor packages began at approximately $39.

SereniGy's independent business opportunity came to an end in August 2015, when the company announced an agreement to merge with Rain International. The transaction brought SereniGy's international distributor network into Rain, while Noland joined Rain International's board and took on a training and sales leadership role.

A later SEC filing describing Noland's business history lists his tenure with SereniGy as 2009 to 2015 and his subsequent position with Rain International beginning in 2015. SereniGy therefore exited direct selling as a standalone company in 2015 rather than simply shutting down without a successor.

The SereniGy corporate entity continued to exist in Florida records for several years after the direct-selling operation ended. SereniGy Global, Inc. was reinstated in Florida in May 2022 after an earlier administrative dissolution, but the state again administratively dissolved the corporation on September 22, 2023 for failure to file an annual report.

Its federal SERENIGY GLOBAL trademark was canceled in 2017, and another SereniGy registration was canceled in 2019 after required continued-use filings were not submitted. These later corporate and trademark records do not indicate a revival of the SereniGy MLM opportunity.

Founder Jay Noland has a separate regulatory history that predates and follows SereniGy. Noland was subject to a 2002 federal court order arising from an earlier FTC pyramid-scheme case. Years after SereniGy merged into Rain, Noland launched Success By Health.

In 2023, a federal court ruled that Noland illegally operated Success By Health and VOZ Travel as pyramid schemes, permanently banned him from participating in multilevel marketing, and imposed a $7.3 million judgment against Noland and two other defendants. Those proceedings concern Noland's other businesses, not SereniGy itself.
