In addition to providing members with the opportunity to earn money by shopping or becoming network partners and earning a portion of the proceeds from the spending of others, the company serves as a fundraising vehicle for charitable organizations.
ShopWurld is an online shopping site that distributes cash bonuses to its members that participating retailers pay out — between 1 and 30 percent of sales prices.
New members once invited by e-mail to be part of the online network, are then required to buy about $25 worth of merchandise a month through the site and recruit at least five other people to ShopWurld. Members then get a percentage of the cash rewards from purchases their recruits make each month.
