ATTORNEY GENERAL EXONERATES DALIUS AND GAS UP USA
Following nearly one year of an extensive investigation into consumer complaints against GAS UP USA, INC and its founder, Eric Dalius, the Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has exonerated both from any wrongdoing and has placed the blame on Patriot Bank and its President Rick Elko for the improper “freezing of consumers funds.”

Eric J. Dalius and Jeffrey S. Hensinger founded a Pennsylvania Corporation known as Telecom Solutions in September of 1994. Hensinger was President and Secretary and Dalius was V.P. and Treasurer of this corporation. Its original offices were located at 609 Hamilton Mall, Allentown, PA. By January 1, 1995 the business had grown and was moved (at the end of the original lease) to larger quarters at 850 N. 5th Street in Allentown. Excerpt from Court Filing |
| Notes: In January of 2000 Eric Dalius was formally indicted by a federal grand jury in Philadelphia on fraud charges related to their operation Telecom Solutions Inc. Telecom Solutions the company marketed long-distance prepaid phone cards and long-distance phone service for individually owned phones but customers didn't always get what they paid for, according to the indictment.
In April of 2001, before a U.S. District court, Mr. Dalius admitted to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and credit card fraud. Prosectors dropped a charge of mail fraud. He was fined $38,000 and sentenced to one year in a work-release center. ( The Morning Call ) |
