Richard Bailey has had a 35 year career in sales and marketing for the telecommunications and computer industries, including AT&T, Tandem Computers and H-P VeriFone. He most recently served in Austin as the Managing Director of Scient, a consulting company focused on funding and developing start-ups.
Richard's past responsibilities have included developing business in Europe and throughout Asia where he helped establish joint ventures with the government of China.
Richard is active in community affairs and has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Austin Entrepreneurs Foundation.
Richard and his wife, Connie, have lived and traveled extensively overseas, but currently make their home in the Texas Hill Country near Johnson City. He has a B.S. degree in Economics from Oklahoma City University and an M.B.A from the University of Portland.
