25 years ago, successful businessman Sid Foulger had his second heart attack. While Mr. Foulger is one of America's most respected philanthropists and real estate developers, his proudest accomplishment has been the time spent with his family of 6 children, 48 grandchildren, and 27 great grand children. He realized that if he wanted to enjoy more time with his family, he had better start taking a closer look at his health.
Mr. Foulger began studying nutrition aggressively roughly 25 years ago, and one of the things he learned was the power of antioxidants and their ability to heal the body by fighting free radicals. A few years ago, he was introduced to an antioxidant called xanthones which was touted as one of nature's most potent antioxidants. He was so intrigued with the power of xanthones that he hired a PHD level scientist from the prestigious National Institute of Health to do some research. What they found was that while xanthones were potentially 50 times stronger than other commonly used antioxidants, many people were not getting the full benefit from existing products on the market due to the fact that most people's bodies could not absorb much of the nutrients.
