Passion Parties in the Columbia Daily Tribune

Using the same direct-selling business model made famous by Tupperware and Mary Kay, Passion Parties offers women in-home get-togethers featuring adult toys and "sensual aids."

Adina Klima became a Passion Parties consultant to have more time with her family. She is one of more than 30,000 women who sell the company's products and spread its message of sexual education and empowerment.

The "girls' night in" that Jen Zoellner recently hosted had the makings of a standard get-together: Hors d'oeuvres lined the countertops next to pictures of her Marine husband, and ice cubes chilled beer, wine and soda in the kitchen sink.
