Quixtar Ranks First in Online Health and Beauty Sales

For the fourth consecutive year, Internet Retailer has ranked Quixtar as the top online retailer in the Health & Beauty (H&B) category, placing 22nd overall based on web-generated sales.

Grand Rapids, Mich. (PRWEB) June 6, 2007 -- For the fourth consecutive year, Internet Retailer has ranked Quixtar as the top online retailer in the Health & Beauty (H&B) category, placing 22nd overall based on web-generated sales.

Internet Retailer's "Top 500 Guide" ranks America's largest retail websites based on 2006 sales. According to the publication, online sales topped $136 billion in 2006, a 21% increase over the previous year. Of Quixtar's $1.118 billion in 2006 revenues, $880 million were generated online, up 10% from 2005 online sales of $800 million.
