Quixtar Launches Personal Website Program

Quixtar Launches Personal Website Program Enabling Independent Business Owners to Open Their Own Online Stores

Quixtar, the #1 online retailer of Health and Beauty products, announces its newest e-commerce service for Independent Business Owners (IBOs), personal websites.

The program launched to all IBOs on May 1 and so far approximately 44,000 IBOs have created more than 72,000 retail sites. We've been extremely pleased by the positive response and look forward to providing IBOs more innovative tools to help them move product and build their businesses.

Personal Websites give IBOs the ability to create a customized e-commerce storefront specifically designed to meet the needs of current clients and introduce new clients to a focused portfolio of products. There are four Personal Website themes currently available: Health, Beauty, Health & Beauty, and Gift & Incentive. A visitor to the site is able to browse products, place and manage orders, and process returns in a focused, customer-oriented atmosphere. Each site is personalized with the business owner's name or business name.

"A personalized site empowers an IBO to focus on specific product areas and to provide more personalized service to their customers," says Heather Anderson, Quixtar's Chief Information Officer. "The program launched to all IBOs on May 1 and so far approximately 44,000 IBOs have created more than 72,000 retail sites. We've been extremely pleased by the positive response and look forward to providing IBOs more innovative tools to help them move product and build their businesses."
