Creative Memories Co-Founder Steps Down

February 25,2014 -- Rhonda Anderson, a co-founder of Creative Memories, recently resigned from Ahni & Zoe by Creative Memories. Anderson and Cheryl Lightle co-founded Creative Memories in 1987. (Lightle resigned in 2004). Creative Memories helped popularize scrapbooking and at one time had more than 400 employees and 20,000 independent sales representatives. By 2008, scrapbooking had become less popular, sales fell off and the company filed the first of two bankruptcies. After the second bankruptcy filing in the fall of 2013, Creative Memories announced its new name and structure.

"All of us at Ahni & Zoe are sad to say goodbye to Rhonda," Ahni & Zoe CEO Chris Veit said in a statement. "She had a long and passionate career with Creative Memories and we wish her and her family the very best ... We will be forever thankful for Rhonda's contribution, advocacy and the integrity she brought to our company and our consultants."
