Vemma NEXT Teams with Presbyterian Hospital to Support Childrens Health

Vemma Nutrition Company announces a partnership with Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina to provide ultra-premium nutrition to underprivileged children. Through Vemma's NEXT Helping Now Project, for each month's supply sold, the company donates a month's supply of its children's nutritional supplement, Vemma NEXT, to a child in need. Vemma will make ongoing donations to the Presbyterian Hospital Community Care Cruiser so children in need throughout Charlotte can receive proper nutrition.

It is reported that one in nine children in North Carolina lack health insurance. An alarming 37,000 are on the list for subsidies. Through the Presbyterian Hospital Community Care Cruiser Program, these children can receive an array of medical services, in a mobile medical unit.

Now, thanks to Vemma's partnership with Presbyterian Hospital, every un- and under-insured child who visits the mobile medical unit will also receive a month's supply of Vemma NEXT, and can return each month for more. Vemma NEXT is physician formulated and designed for children 2 through 12. It includes a full ounce of the Vemma formula, along with an enhanced nutrient blend unique to children's nutritional needs. Vemma NEXT helps children stay healthy, because it contains antioxidants and nutrients that help support the body's immune system.*

"It's our goal to help keep children healthy. By sharing Vemma NEXT with these under-served kids, we know we're making a big difference in their overall well-being," says Vemma Founder and CEO BK Boreyko.

In time for school

The Vemma and Community Care Cruiser partnership will kick off at the Community Care Cruiser's Big Shot Days on August 6, 2010. Here children receive immunizations for the upcoming school year, while enjoying activities and giveaways that make the day more fun.
