Vemma Continues Support of HealthCorps at Annual Gala
Hosted at Gotham Hall in New York City, the Grassroots Garden Gala honored leaders in their fields who are making significant contributions to the health and well being of American youth.
Dr. Mehmet Oz, HealthCorps Chairman, renowned heart surgeon and two-time Daytime Emmy Award-winning host of two-time Daytime Emmy Award-winning "The Dr. Oz Show," and his wife Lisa Oz co-hosted the Gala, which also celebrated the work of Harold Hamm, CEO of Continental Resources and founder of the Harold Hamm Diabetes Center as well as Marlo Thomas, actress, producer and social activist.
Grassroots Garden Gala guests were also treated to special live musical performances by Grammy-winning Hip Hop artists Naughty by Nature, and Jermaine Paul (winner of The Voice Season 2) who also recently performed at Vemma Revolution Convention at the Mirage in Las Vegas earlier this month.
"Dr. Oz is an amazing leader in his field and in the community, and I am always happy to support the work he and his foundation are doing in communities across the country to help our youth live healthier lives," BK Boreyko commented.
Vemma has been a long-time financial contributor and has served as a HealthCorps Community Sponsor since 2006. In addition, BK Boreyko is an active HealthCorps Advisory Board Member. Vemma's support of HealthCorps is closely tied to the company's mission to help to improve the lives of children around the world through improved health and nutrition.
