Wiley Hurt, Chief Operating Officer

With over a decade of award-winning service at the company, Wiley Hurt continues to develop innovative solutions to help manage the company's tremendous growth. "It's my job to make sure everyone can do theirs." His problem solving skills and "never give up" attitude continue to grow ACT's size and multinational stature. In 1999 he planned and oversaw the construction of the World Headquarters in Chula Vista, CA.
In August of 2001 he was promoted to the Chief Information Officers position where he maximized the company's "uptime" by building a reliable and fast network which would serve Youngevity Worldwide. He received the prestigious "Citation of Excellence" award as CIO. In January 2003 he was promoted to the Chief Operating Officer and he established the Australian and New Zealand Offices.
Wiley oversees the daily worldwide operations for the USA, Canada, South Africa, Japan, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.
Wiley is also very active among local service and community organizations. He has served as a leadership role model for the Boy Scouts of Troop 2001, in Chula Vista, as their Scout Master for the last six years. He has produced 8 Eagle Scouts thus far. Wiley says, "I believe in character development and values-based leadership training that will help our young people in citizenship, service, and leadership" He furthermore believes in helping those in need. In doing so, he donates several hours of his time every year to help with various community service projects.

Having joined the company in November 1996 as VP of Operations, Wiley Hurt developed innovative solutions to help manage the early growth of the company. In 1999 he planned and oversaw the construction for the World Headquarters in Chula Vista, CA. In the August of 2001 he was promoted to the Chief Information Officers position where he maximized the company’s “uptime” by building a reliable and fast network which would serve Youngevity Worldwide.
